Apparently, Republicans really will use any black guy they can find to mouthpiece the party — even this cross-eyed goofball window-dressing relic from the last Bush administration. Christie, author of the 2006 memoir Black in the White House, has become one of the foremost apologists for both the Bush legacy (!) and Dick Cheney (!!), and even the New York Post stimulus-package/dead-chimp cartoon.
